Meta Brings Its Muse AI Agent to the iPad
Meta has updated its Muse iOS application to natively support the iPad, expanding the reach of its popular agentic AI tool to larger screens and improved multitasking environments.

Meta has expanded the reach of its agentic AI tool, Muse, by releasing a native iPadOS version. The update comes roughly one month after the assistant's initial iOS debut, which quickly secured the top spot among free applications on Apple's App Store. A macOS version was released just a week after the iPhone launch to assist with desktop organization. The rapid deployment of the iPad version, especially compared to the fifteen years it took Meta to bring Instagram to the tablet, highlights the company's aggressive push into the consumer AI sector.
The new iPad release leverages the tablet's larger display and multitasking capabilities, allowing users to run the assistant alongside other active applications. Alongside the hardware-specific optimization, the latest update introduces a suite of integrations with third-party productivity software. Muse can now connect to Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, Zoom, Asana, and Klaviyo, alongside new connectors for Granola and Notion. These integrations position the tool to compete directly with rival AI agents like OpenClaw, ChatGPT's Dots, and Grok Bot.
For small business owners and independent practitioners, the update introduces features designed to automate complex workflow planning. Users can assign specific business goals to Muse, prompting the agent to autonomously draft marketing strategies, client pitches, and "new product pages." Beyond tablets and desktops, Meta is also exploring dedicated hardware for its AI ecosystem. The company recently announced the Muse Charm, a standalone device reminiscent of a Tamagotchi that runs the agent without a phone, and is actively developing integration for its smart glasses.
