ElevenLabs and ServiceNow Bet Big on Enterprise Workflows
Recent mega-deals and operational metrics show enterprise tech giants and startups are securing competitive moats by embedding AI directly into complex daily business operations.

Major technology companies are aggressively expanding their reach into core operational systems to establish long-term defensibility for artificial intelligence. Recent market activity highlights this transition from standalone models to embedded software environments. Schneider Electric agreed to purchase PTC for roughly $22.6 billion in equity value to control software across product manufacturing and service lifecycles. Similarly, Synopsys partnered with OpenAI to combine frontier models with established chip-design tools through revenue-sharing and licensing agreements.
Startups that successfully embed into routine processes are demonstrating high operational volume alongside steep valuations. ElevenLabs announced that its AI agents now handle over 15 million weekly conversations across insurance renewals, healthcare bookings, and refund processing. Coinciding with this operational volume, ElevenLabs launched an employee tender offer at a $22 billion valuation, underscoring how automated routine execution builds significant enterprise equity value.
Larger enterprise platforms are using acquisition strategies to buy direct access to existing user bases and daily administrative tasks. ServiceNow acquired Moveworks, an enterprise search and AI assistant provider that brought 5.5 million employee users into its ecosystem. At the time of the transaction, Moveworks and ServiceNow already shared approximately 250 enterprise clients, allowing the combined entity to instantly route internal IT and HR requests into automated resolution systems.
For software developers and enterprise decision-makers, these moves demonstrate that underlying model performance is no longer a standalone competitive advantage. Replacing an AI assistant that is integrated into deep administrative logic requires expensive testing, operational retraining, and risk management. As a result, software leaders must prioritize deep integration with existing business processes over incremental gains in raw model capabilities.
